restoration

My name is Matthew, and I have been restored.

To what exactly, sometimes I just don’t know, but its a journey.  God and Jesus are generally involved (most of the time).

Recently, a thought has been going around my head and I think this summarises fairly succinctly where exactly I am at this moment.  When you are travelling, the only place you can’t go is where you have come from.

That’s the spiritual stuff.  My mundane life involves working for a large bank, but 2008 has been extraordinary.  So, I’m finding I write about that a bit more nowadays.

And I’m going to Australia soon, for a month.  Very exciting.

And I like coffee.  And curry.  Beer too.  The occasional whisky.  Red wine is quite nice, as are bacon rolls on stressful Friday mornings.
